About My Blog

Part Three – that slice of life between raising kids and retirement.

In this part of my life, the kids have families of their own and I get to figure out what I like to do.

What I’ve discovered so far, is that I love gardening, amateur photography, refurbishing old junk, yoga, cooking, boating and I’m just crazy about mowing on my riding mower.

On top of all that, I get to live in the Northern Rockies in a place so beautiful it often makes my breath catch.  Life up here is full of simple pleasures and I hope you enjoy reading about some of them.

Please leave a comment – I truly enjoy reading what you have to say!

    Hi vickie,

I’m the scaredy cat mom who sat next to you on the plane from sf to seattle. I remembered the name of your blog and found it! Just wanted to say thanks for helping me not focus on every little bump on the flight. I really enjoyed talking to you. I’m going to make those fish tacos!

    Blessings,
    Kathy

    • Kathy! I can’t believe you found this – and I’m so flattered! I enjoyed talking to you and wished later that we’d played a game of Scrabble on the iPad. Thanks for finding me. 🙂 Vickie
